In a child's mind, the mirror is a separate realm, filled with mimickers set on fooling us. Each person in our world is assigned a twin who dresses as we do and dutifully copies our every move when we gaze at them through the glass.
If they can just turn around fast enough, perhaps they can catch their reflection off guard. Perhaps they can sneak a peek at their mirror twin doing something entirely different.

great teaser! Ghost In The Mirror sounds very good. I like that book cover too. I find mirrors to be creepy.

That was a little on the creepy side. Reminds me of when I was a kid and I always thought that a monster was following me down the hall and all I had to do was turn around real quick and I'd see it. Needless to say I usually ran down the hall. lol
