This week’s activity is: A Quote a Day.
You may want to come up with a theme, such as favorite passages from books, author quotes, political quotes, quotes about books or reading, humorous quotes, whatever. Or you may not want a theme at all; maybe you just want to gather up seven assorted quotes that appeal to you. You may want to start each of your posts of the week with a quote, or you may want to give quotes posts of their own in addition to your regular posts. It’s all up to you!
For this weeks Weekly Geeks, I have decided to combine two of the most important things in my life - my love of reading and my dogs. So everyday this week I will present a quote about dogs from a famous author (and I will also sneak in some photos of my beloved pooches - Suki & Raimi)
To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden where doing nothing was not boring - it was peace. ~ Milan Kundera

I love your theme. It's a great quote and great pictures. I look forward to seeing more.
Great theme and a lovely photo. :)
I'm doing cats and quotes.
That is a really neat theme! Great quote, I need to look at boredom that way. And what a cute photo!
I didn't get the photo but I adore the quote and couldn't agree with it more! My dog is my baby and any time I can spend with her is the best.
Thanks for stopping by my place.

This is just beautiful! I look forward to seeing more of your beloved puppies and reading more dog quotes.
I may be puppy shopping this winter! Haven't had a dog for a long time, so looking forward to that puppy love.
There are people who think doing nothing is boring!? It's one of my favorite things. Great photo. Wish I was there!
Thanks for all your nice comments everyone!
Becca - doing nothing is a great way to spend time, when else do we get the time to think and contemplate.
Terri - Oh I'm so excited for you! These are my first dogs and I look forward to adding many more. Their love and companionship is priceless.
