I'm rereading a whole bunch of her books too. I used to love her books back 15 years ago. I'm also interested to see how I will like them now.

I have fond memories of when I read Flowers in the Attic and how all of us girls had to read and discuss - what, in middle school? That book and the ones by Judy Bloom were my first intro to book discussion with my peers, so to speak.

Have fun with this!

I have a hunch that you won't like the Andrews books anymore; I certainly grew out of them. It'll be interesting to see whether I'm right or wrong.

I was tempted to join this one too :) I read Flowers in the Attic many years ago, and really enjoyed it.
Have fun reading :)

I'm still not sure how I made it through high school without reading any VC Andrews.

I am seriously revisiting my 11 year old self and making her feel better for LOVING these books (I thought it was bad that I liked them!). Let the re-reading begin!

What great memories of the Flowers in the Attic! Did you see the movie? Oh it was bad.

I hope you enjoy the books again, but I'm with chartoose in thinking they might not hold up so well.

Can't believe I've never read any VC Andrews! Guess I need to get on that.

I've read Heaven, Dark Angel, My Sweet Audrina, and the Flowers in the Attic series.

Everyone who was a teenager in the eighties seems to remember this series, I remember it being read out loud by a girl in my high school class, and I was hooked. Re-reading them now, they're stil compelling, but very dated. True or not? Hard to know.
