Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays asks you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us 2 sentences from that page.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Please avoid spoilers!

Teaser #1

"I've met a handsome prince," said Snow White. She stared dreamily out the window. "He woke me with a kiss, but then he 'ad to leave. He told me he'd be back, though, once he'd gone off and killed some dragon or other."
~ The Book Of Lost Things by John Connolly

Teaser #2

Friday finally arrived. For the past five days, I experimented with makeup and different hairstyles to turn myself into more appetizing bait.

~ Halfway To The Grave by Jeaniene Frost

Teaser #3

Is that the faucet dripping? You could go into the kitchen and stop it, but it's so dark in there, and that may have been the rattling of the door knob I heard a moment ago. Somebody checking on us to see if we're locked in and safe. I do hope we're alone in here.

~ Dark Delicacies by Del Howison and Jeff Gelb

You've got some great teasers too... but the first one catches my eye the most.

These all are tempting enough to be added to the ever growing TBR pile!

I'm hoping to read The Book of Lost Things soon for the R.I.P. Challenge. Thanks for the teaser. :)

The first teaser is especially intriguing. Where on earth do you all find the time to read so much? I'd love to be able to. . .but with two small children and a house to remodel. . .I'm hurtin' in the reading department! I miss it.
