Let me know how you like Woman on the Edge of Time. I read it last fall for a class and didn't get to talk enough about it, so I'd love to discuss it if you'd, er, like to. *cough*

You got some great books! I wish our book stores had post Christmas sales like that. Garden Spells and Notes from a Small Island look especially interesting to me.

Looks like you got a wide variety of books.

Is the Second Summoning by Tanya Huff from the same author of the Blood Books??? I.e. blood price etc.?

You got some great books there! I love A Great and Terrible Beauty and Kit's Law. I wouldn't mind rereading Kit's Law this year, actually, because I can't remember what happens in that book and what happens in Downhill Chance. They sort of run together at this point! I also want to reread Poision Study this year. Oh, and I think I was in the minority, but I hated Joan Didion's book!

You have a lot of good books there. I've read the first of the Sorority books and enjoyed it. I still have the other two to read. Garden Spells and the Libba Bray series is really good. Enjoy all these great books.

wow, what a great haul. I'm especially envious that you found Awakenings, Garden Spells and The Year of Magical Thinking!

I couldn't find anything good at the post-Christmas sales here...which is probably for the best :P

Joanne? May I, too, have a copy of Dewey's review form? If you could be so kind? Thank you, oh thank you ever so much! (I'm reading Anne of Green Gables and I've been talking like her nonstop today.)

You got some GREAT books at the Post-Xmas sale!!! I see all kinds of yummy goodies.

It looks like a huge reading order to me, although I can only get through about three books a month.

And Terry Gilliam to boot! This would help feed my Monty Python addiction

What a great bunch of books! I have Woman on the Edge of Time. I read it ages ago, so I don't remember specifics, but I remember finding it very interesting.

Happy reading!
